[…] Before entering the cream-and-black, open Rolls-Royce, Rainier clasped his hands in joyful exultation, as if to say, “By God, we did it!” Grace leaned over, crinkled her eyes, and whispered something into his ear. Rainier tugged at his collar and grinned broadly. He looked at his wife with affection. What a shame no lip-reader was present.
